I have had OAB since I was in my late 20's. I am now 55 and 8 months ago I had a total hysterectomy due to a very large fibroid in my uterus. I hesitated for a few years to have it removed but 4 different doctors told me I would have great relief to my bladder and no more OAB if I had it removed. It was like a bowling ball sitting on my bladder according to my Gyn. Fortunately, I had the hysterectomy because the biopsy showed that it would have turned in a bad direction (the "C" word). Anyway...here I am 8 months later and I still have to pee all the time. I even quit drinking coffee a week ago and I am still not noticing a difference. Anyone else have a similar experience?
